What We Build

A studio practice
across every room.

From a single bathroom to a ground-up custom home, Acassa is built around one general contractor's daily attention and an in-house design center. The work, the people, and the schedule stay under one roof.

The Design Center

Walk in. Pick everything. Walk out with a plan.

Most remodels stall in the same place: too many vendors, too many appointments, too many decisions made over emailed PDFs. Our Delray Beach design center is the answer — every finish, fixture, tile, cabinet, and surface, in one room, with our designer at the table.

  • 01
One appointment, not eight. Cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, plumbing fixtures, hardware, paint — selected side by side in one sitting, not across weeks of showroom visits.
  • 02
Touch the materials. See them next to each other. The veining of the marble against the grain of the oak, the satin of the brass against the matte of the tile. Decisions get easier when you can see them together.
  • 03
Our designer at the table. Eliza and the design team have helped homeowners build hundreds of rooms. You bring the inspiration, they bring the experience and the catalog of what actually lasts.
  • 04
The plan goes straight to the crew. Because the design and the build live in the same studio, there's no handoff. What you specified on paper is what shows up on site.

The Studio

Built around repeat clients.

The reason most of our work comes from people we have already worked with is not a marketing claim. It is the only metric of a remodeler that actually matters.

01

One General Contractor, every day.

Bill is on every job, every week. You are not handed off from the salesperson who closed you to a project manager you've never met. The person who shook your hand at the start is the person finishing the punch list.

02

Design and build, under one roof.

Our Delray Beach design center lets you stand in front of materials, finishes and cabinetry as a single decision instead of three separate vendor visits. Coordination is our job, not yours.

03

Schedules we actually hit.

"Before Thanksgiving." "Before the family vacation ends." "Before the grandkids visit." Those are the deadlines we hear and the ones we plan toward. Our clients tell us we are unusual for treating them as real.

04

The crew you'd hire again.

Our trades have been with us for years. They are quiet, clean, and they leave the site at the end of every day looking like a home you can live in. The reviews mention this. It is not an accident.

I have only used one contractor for remodels in recent years, and it's Acassa Construction. However, I've used them almost every year or so for the past 13 years. Three bathrooms, multiple bedrooms, closets, several load-bearing walls removed, our driveway paved, roof replaced, floors replaced, and we moved our kitchen from one side of the house to another. They've become like family.

Had a full bedroom and primary bath remodel. Work was done to a high standard and any requests or changes were accomplished without major changes to the bid. I have some experience in flipping houses and I would say Acassa is one of the best contractors out there.

Finally — a GC that actually comes through and who estimates accurately. Experienced and highly recommended with a gorgeous design center. Acassa has been my exclusive GC since 2009. Four jobs and counting.

Acassa transformed our small Delray house into a family and friends gathering home. They harmonized existing structure with new open space to create a very cohesive look. Every team member was attentive, responsive and reliable. The work is stunning.

Common Questions

Answers, before
you call.

The questions every homeowner asks before signing a remodeling contract — answered as honestly as we'd answer them across the table.

What does a remodel with Acassa actually cost?

Cost depends on scope, finishes, and the bones of the home, but as a useful starting point: our recent kitchen remodels have run from the mid five-figures to several hundred thousand, our bathroom remodels typically sit in the $40,000–$120,000 range, and whole-home renovations have ranged from $180,000 to over $500,000. The estimate we send you is the number we hold ourselves to.

How long will my project take?

A bathroom is typically four to eight weeks. A kitchen is six to twelve weeks. A whole-home renovation runs two to eight months depending on structural scope. We share a detailed week-by-week schedule before demo day, and we tell you up front if a deadline you need is realistic.

Do I need to move out during construction?

For single-room remodels, almost never. For kitchen remodels, most clients stay in the home with a temporary kitchen we help set up. For whole-home renovations, it varies; if you do plan to be away during construction, we coordinate the heaviest demo work to that window — we have a case study of a family who returned from a six-week vacation to a nearly-finished home.

What areas of South Florida do you serve?

We're based in Delray Beach and primarily work across Palm Beach County — Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Highland Beach, Gulf Stream, Ocean Ridge, Manalapan, Lake Worth Beach, Wellington, and Lantana. If your project is just outside that, ask — we make exceptions for the right job.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Acassa Construction holds a Florida Certified General Contractor license and carries full general liability and workers' compensation coverage. We're happy to share current certificates of insurance and our license number on request.
