A ground-up custom build in Delray Beach. Two stories, modern coastal architecture, an open plan organized around the kitchen, and a back of house that opens fully onto the pool.
The home reads as Delray Beach contemporary. Standing-seam metal roof, stacked-stone accent walls, full-height windows at the entry, and a deep covered porch wrapped around the front. The arched front door and pergola detailing soften the architecture without leaning historic.
The driveway is paver brick, the landscaping is layered Florida natives, and the address marker reads from the street: 1781 N Swinton.
The interior runs as one open volume from front to back. Living, dining, and kitchen share the same floor and the same light oak floor. The kitchen anchors the center of the plan, with a wood-beamed ceiling, a marble waterfall island, and a separate prep counter with the second sink.
The back of the house is mostly glass. Triple-track sliders pocket open so the dining room becomes part of the pool deck. The pool sits on axis with the dining table, framed by the lounge furniture on either side. Indoor and outdoor become one program.
The original house on the lot was taken to the ground. What stands today is the house you see above, built ground-up to the family's program and the architecture of the neighborhood.
